March’s costume contest is underwaaaaay!  It’s that time again – time to cannel your creative spirit into designing your own original outfit ideas! This month’s contest will end Monday, March 21^st at 8pm PST (9pm MST, 10pm CST, 11pm EST, use a time zone converter for all other regions). Send your costume designs in before then for the chance to share your outfit ideas with all players across the globe! You could be the next Poptropican to contribute to the game. The winner of the monthly contest will become a real in-game costume available in the Baron’s Cabin of Curiosities, for 🆓🆓🆓!

 

 

All players and artists of any skill set are welcome to enter! No matter if you’re an art novice or prodigy – your ideas are what matters the most! You can illustrate your ideas by putting pen to paper or using a tablet/iPad to draw digitally. Once you’ve captured your ideas in an image, enter your costume designs in this month’s contest round through the submissions page.  If you're on Instagram, post your designs, tag us (@poptropicacreators), and use #MyPoptropicaCostume in your caption. We'll repost it to our story and share your art with our followers!

 

Remember, these contests are held on a monthly basis. If you've been unsuccessful in the past, keep at it! It's always a pleasure to see the imagination and creativity in the community Don't worry about running out of ideas or the upcoming deadline either, players are always welcome to enter previously submitted outfit designs. Be aware that there is a maximum of 3 submissions per each contest.

 

As you’re drawing your costume idea, here are some tips to keep in mind:

 

• Your costume submission should be original and age-appropriate.
• Get creative! Look for inspiration in your favorite looks that you can put your own spin on! From TV/film, your personal wishlist outfits, career uniforms, and celebrity sightings, you can design just about anything! HOWEVER, DO NOT SIMPLY COPY THE OUTFITS THAT INSPIRED YOU.
• Costumes may also include accessories and special powers.
• Make sure your designs can be reproduced as a Poptropica costume. Avoid including tiny details would be hard to recreate or using previous store costumes.
