In case you missed it, the first look into Secret of the Jade Scarab was shared only a few weeks ago! In the sneak peek, a fancy feline was revealed… Notice anything interesting about the creature? It seems impossible to look away from its glowing green eyes! There’s also been talk about the cat’s impressive jewelry. Whoever gave this mystery cat its gold accessories was not kitten around...

TOTALLY. Rick Riordian is like my favorite author. The books are amazing and it would be so cool if this was Kane chronicles like.
Cats used to be worshiped by ancient Egyptians and were held sacred. They were believed to bring good fortune and ward off any misfortune, Egyptians would usually adorn them with jewels (which explains why the black cat in the sneak peek is wearing gold jewelry) and would be offered tasty treats. There is no doubt that the black cat will at least have some importance in the Jade Scarab island...
Haven't been in a while, but it looks nice, I like how posts have started having Easter eggs from old islands and I'm looking forward to secret of the jade scarab. Happy late birthday poptropica!

Sorry, I can't help but notice that you guys don't mention the old islands, is there a reason?
Because what we poptropicans want is the old islands or news about the old islands, we don't really want store updates or ad updates, we want old stuff back.
I understand if you guys are keeping it a surprise, but that doesn't mean you should ignore it completely.
Poptropica's old islands were what made poptropica poptropica. But then you guys start adding animations and islands that take literally 2 min to complete instead of trying to bring back old islands.
What is more important? Bringing back the poptropica that we love, or alienating and watering down poptropica into few islands that take 2 minutes to complete?
Animations make poptropica feel.. (sorry) babyish. The islands that take a minute to complete are ( sorry again) babyish.
Poptropica was filled to the brim with nostalgia.
I guess what I'm trying to do is give you guys some constructive criticism and say that if you guys focus in bringing back some old islands, and stop with the animations, poptropica will become more popular, and I would love to see that.
You guys have already made a great start to the year, bringing back a few old islands, and we love you guys for that. It's just that the fact you guys work on the side quests and new islands so much and you don't show that you guys are putting in effort that it frustrates us.
But I thank you poptropica for the hard work you guys are doing. who knows? Probably by the end of the year, we could have some of the old islands back, at least 3-5 islands.
