Let’s kick this week off with a high note – here’s a super special sneak peek for the upcoming Goofball Island! The brand-new dream island is coming to Poptropica very soon and will be available to all players! But until it’s release, here’s a teaser to get the goof-train rolling. 🚂

Goofball Island is home to the whackiest Poptropicans around! The goofy citizens enjoy the silly bliss the island offers, but not everyone is fond of Goofball’s usual hijinks. Dr. Blandston, the island’s resident evil scientist, isn’t amused by the jokes and laughter the rest of the citizens adore. Instead, Dr. Blandston has developed a high-tech device, designed to purge Goofball Island of its colorful setting and fun-loving character. The island is running out of options… it’s up to you to stop Dr. Blandston from transforming Goofball into a dull, boring husk of its former glory. Do you have what it takes to protect Goofball Island?

We felt as though we have been neglected for years, our cries ignored. I resented you for thinking mini-quests were what we wanted and how you refused to even speak of the old islands, but you have brought back Mission Atlantis, working on the other episodes of episodic islands, and are now working on a new island. You are truly fantastic. I don't know how to begin to thank you, but I will start by buying merch and perhaps purchasing a membership later on. Thank you.
Just out of curiosity, I know not all old features will return, but would you mind taking a few minutes to tell me what old features are possibly returning, and which ones definitely aren't? I mean features, not islands. Please answer clearly. I would truly appreciate an actual answer. Thank you so much.

This island premise sounds great! Whoever came up with it has a wonderful imagination. I'm so pleased that a new island is coming out. Although I miss most of the older islands, I know that it can't be helped and that you developers are very busy with your projects and personal lives. I'm definitely looking forward to this! To those who disapprove of the new Poptropica, have you ever thought about your disapproval being a sign of your maturity? This game is meant for kids, and for kids it will remain. Funnily enough, it's kind of a parallel with this upcoming island! Do you want to grouse and make Poptropica a colorless, joyless husk, or do you want to try and enjoy the vestiges of your childhood that still remain?

This island looks actually really cool, in my opinion
So excited for this island! Looks like a return to form of the classic island format, between this and Atlantis coming back (hopefully for all players soon?) this is looking to be a very strong year for poptropica, and I can’t wait for the next one. I hope that when the islands are back up you hold another island design contest, since there are lots of very creative ideas.
